Customer Reviews

Review #1: We were very happy at your hotel. Excellent room and the service was exceptional. Having a restaurant right in the hotel is very convenient, especially with little kids. Your location is perfect. Close to beaches and Mystic Seaport, which is a fun place to visit. Lots of shops nearby, too. Best of all, we found a great deal online at (URL).

Review #2: I travel a lot for business and hardly ever notice the hotel but your hotel is very noticeable. For starters, the room was very comfortable and had a good work desk. The business center was also a big plus. Very friendly service and an ideal locale. Had some time off and got to have a little fun at the Mohegan Sun Casino, which is just a few miles away.  [Top]
Wonderful Experience

My husband and I were looking for a hotel nearby to the Mohegan Sun Casino & luckily found this hotel. It is only a 5 min drive to the casino & the hotel provided a FREE shuttle to the casino along with a FREE dinner voucher that could be used at any dining facility (not just the buffet) at the casino. They also gave each of us $10 gaming voucher.

Also, the shuttle drivers & all of the hotel's personnel were extremely friendly & helpful answering questions about local places. The front desk even took the time to give us a cab company business card just in case we missed the shuttle back!

Our room was extremely spacious with very modern decor & we did not want for any amneity (ie; fridge, microwave, large screen tv, internet hook-up etc). Same with the bathroom (modern black marble vanity with an abudance of good quality towels).

The lobby is also very well appointed & while we were waiting for our shuttle (which runs hourly) we went into the bar & lounge which was serving their nitely complimentary buffet for patrons. The food quality was above average for a hotel.

Lastly, upon our departure the following morning, for a very reasonable cost we enjoyed the "All you can eat" hot & cold breakfast buffet.

We will most definately be returning!  [Top]

My husband and I visited in August 2007. The hotel was in a very quiet location which we liked alot. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The room was very comfortable and up-to-date. It was very clean. I am going back again in November.  [Top]

When staying at this hotel, I had no complaints at all. The room was updated and very clean!! The service was wonderful. We asked for towls and a couple other odds and ends and they brought them right away. The front desk was very helpful with shuttle services and help finding a spa located close at a decent price and very nice decore.  [Top]

Holiday Inn Hotel Review. This past weekend, in the middle of a snow storm, my boyfriend and I went for an overnight getaway. This was a surprise that he had planned for me and it was great! We had a wonderful time and he got a really great rate on the room through Priceline.com. I have used this service previously and have had some great results.
  • LOBBY. The lobby was very spacious, bright and clean. There was a nice oversized leather couch and two leather chairs that faced a gas fireplace with a flat panel TV above that. Very nice atmosphere for sitting and relaxing. There were two function rooms off of the lobby, which appeared to be nice rooms.
  • CHECK-IN. Check-in was very quick. My boyfriend went in to check-in, due to the weather being bad. He was out within minutes. We parked and were in the room within 20 minutes. There was a slight issue with the parking lot, with a truck plowing but not doing the best job.
  • THE ROOM. Two queen beds, a desk, comfortable chair, wireless internet and playstation games. The room was decorated nicely. There was a motif throughout the hotel of palm trees and jungle. There were nice bed spreads with tan and green, nice green curtains, and palm themed lamps.
  • THE BATHROOM & SHOWER. The bathroom was functional...nothing wonderful, but served the purpose. The shower had decent water pressure, which is sometimes unusual at hotels. There was a hairdryer in the bathroom, which I have found is pretty much a standard now.
  • FITNESS CENTER. We did not have time to use this service, but there was a small fitness center on the second level. There were three machines and a bathroom with shower in the fitness center.
  • SWIMMING POOL. We did not get a chance to use the pool either, but there was an indoor pool The pool was a decent size and had a nice area surrounding the pool for relaxing, too.  [Top]
